"[Two summers ago] my first sister, Priscilla, would have turned 19," Jeremy shared.
"I began to process her death with my cousin.
And I could feel myself healing.
Unfortunately, I became overbearing—like I had done with so many people before.
And, just like so many people before, she pushed me away.
It led to one of the lowest points of my life.
I wasn’t just losing a friend…it was like I was losing my sister all over again.
I reached out to a friend from back home, who put me in touch with Wes (a student leader with Cru). Wes was the first person I shared my story with.”
Now, two years later, Jeremy's healing experience of Christ compels him to reach out to friends and come alongside them on their spiritual journey––people who are unlikely to ever find themselves in a church.
To Jeremy, Jesus’ resurrection isn’t just dogma; it's hope for reunion. And to him, God's love is not mere proposition; it's a living experience.
