Adam’s brother, Osman, had gone to meet his girlfriend’s relatives in Venezuela.
Immediately after crossing the border, Osman was arrested, interrogated, and then taken to an unknown location––where he was tortured.
Eventually, because of presidential intervention, Osman––and several other prisoners––were brought home.
But during Osman’s experience of horror, something surprising happened... Several of the prisoners started worshiping.
Even though Osman was not religious, the worship and testimony of these other prisoners eventually transformed him into a person of deep, resolute faith.
Since coming back home in 2022, Osman’s faith has been having a transformative impact on his Muslim-background family––including Adam.
Today, Adam can be found walking the campus in prayer, reading the Bible with classmates (believers and non-believers!), and discussing who Jesus is with other students and professors.
Adam is convinced: God is real, Jesus reigns, and nobody is ever too far from God.
