What. A. Year.
It was one of the most inconstant and unpredictable. And yet it was surprisingly fruitful.
So we celebrated!!! (See photo above.)
We saw students lead in ways we didn’t expect in the midst of uncertainty. We saw younger students become inspired to lead next year because of their student leaders. And we saw disconnected students from all kinds of backgrounds (Iranian, Jewish, secular, etc.) join Bible studies!
Recently I asked a freshman about the year and he replied:
"During COVID I was able to think about and intentionally choose
what's really important in life rather than just react to all the things
that I have to do."
To give you a sense of the ministry from a few student perspectives, I’d like to share a couple of notes from our graduating seniors:
“As a graduating senior, I am sad to be leaving this community behind. It has had a tremendous impact on my college experience, my faith, and my growth as a person. Some of my fondest friends I have met through Cru...and these are relationships I expect will last a lifetime...The impact you have made on me will echo through the rest of my life and on to eternity. I think I can speak for all of the Cru students when I say this. Thank you.”
-Joshua (Graduating senior)
